For the first time in history, Nike has developed an all-new soccer-specific 3/4 Zoom Air unit. The unit is positioned in the sole plate and offers extra responsive cushioning for those who play on particularly hard surfaces and terrains.

The upper is made of Vaporposite, which combines adherent grid mesh and fine lining for ideal ball control at high speed. The lining offers a tactile fit on the surface of the upper. Soft and stable, it wraps the foot more naturally during dribbling, passing or scoring.

Flyknit wraps the ankle in a soft, stretchy fabric for a locked-in fit. The speed cage inside the frame is made of a thin but strong material that keeps the foot on the plate without adding weight, for an ideal stability.

The tri-star studs provide multi-directional traction with every step, for quick and confident changes of direction. The studs on the heel are synonymous with traction and stability under arrest. The off-center studs in the toe ensure ideal traction during explosive starts.

A completely renewed design improves the fit by reproducing the shape of the foot. We achieved this by carrying out various wear tests on hundreds of athletes. The result is a more contoured toe box and increased heel fit.
